Mild Steel Cotters are used for fixing the tie bar with Cast Iron Plates in Cast Iron sleepers (e.g.CST-9). These cotters are 152 mm in length, splitted from side in a length of 112 mm named as side split cotter. Splitting is done at an angle of 200 from the horizontal.
