Brief Description

Bearing Plate is used on all joints and curves to give more bearing area. These plates are made up of Mild steel. These plates have a cant of 1 in 20 and a groove in the centre to prevent rocking and normally called as Mild Steel Canted Bearing Plate. The nominal size of these plates for 52 kg and 90 R rails is 25.4 cm x 22.86 cm x 1.59 cm.

Brief Description

Anti-Creep Bearing Plate is provided on wooden sleepers where creep is likely to take place. They have a cant of 1 in 20 and are fixed with round spikes on wooden sleepers.
