RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site

RSS is a technology by which certain articles of a
regular type on a website can be accessed and read WITHOUT the need to view
the web pages in a normal form in a web browser. To do this, one can use
either some regular E-mail software like Microsoft Outlook (through which
the articles can be downloaded as easily as e-mails) OR some other software
known as "NEWSREADERS".
For this purpose the website needs to provide its RSS
Links or "Feeds".
